Minutes:
The January 13, 2021 Downtown Development Authority (DDA) meeting was called to order at 8:35 AM by Chairperson Steve Harper.
A motion to adopt the final minutes for the December 9, 2020 meeting was made by Lindie Wright, seconded by Alec Therrel, motion carried unanimously.
Old Business:
Fundraising Plan- Ailena Parramore from “Our Fundraising Search” explained the need for a fundraising consultant. Ailena Parramore can provide the DDA with a one-day training on Campaign Consulting and monthly services on Coaching and Fundraising Skills.
The motion to hire “Our Fundraising Search” for training and coaching of the DDA fundraising project was made by Lindie Wright, seconded by Alec Therrel, motion carried unanimously.
New Business:
Letter of commitment- The DDA needs to raise approximately $500,000.00 for the Fundraising project.
The motion for the letter of commitment to bind the DDA to the Fundraising project was made by Rob Sollie, seconded by Lindie Wright, motion carried unanimously.
There was no Open Discussion or Executive Session.
Motion to adjourn was made by Rob Sollie, seconded by Lindie Wright, motion carried unanimously.
