HIAWASSEE CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES 
April 2^nd, 2019

The April 2019 City Council Meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m.in council chambers by Mayor Liz Ordiales.

The invocation was given by Councilmember Kris Berrong and was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.  Mayor Ordiales welcomed all attendees.

The motion to adopt final agenda as distributed was made by Councilmember Amy Barrett, seconded by Council member Kris Berrong with all in favor.

There was no old business

The motion to approve Consent Agenda, which consists of the December Financials, and the minutes of the March 5^thCity Council and the March 25^thCity Council Work Session meetings, was made by Councilmember Anne Mitchell, seconded by Council member Nancy Noblet with all in favor.

The resolution to approve the Screw Press Declaration was made by Councilmember Patsy Owens, seconded by Council member Amy Barrett, with all in favor.

The approval of a contract to Penn Credit (GMA) for collection of outstanding City debt was made by Councilmember Anne Mitchell, seconded by Council member Kris Berrong with all in favor.

The first reading of the Defined Benefit Ordinance amendment was made by Councilmember Patsy Owens, seconded by Council member Anne Mitchell with all in favor.

The approval of a resolution to move funds from GMA to OneAmerica for City retirement and adoption agreement was made by Councilmember Amy Barrett, seconded by Council member Nancy Noblet with all in favor.

The motion to approve first reading of the 2019-2020 Budget was made by Councilmember Amy Barrett, seconded by Council member Anne Mitchell with all in favor.

The motion to the approval of a memorandum of agreement for Main Street Affiliate program was made by Councilmember Patsy Owens, seconded by Council member Anne Mitchell with all in favor.

There was no executive session

The motion to adjourn was made by Councilmember Amy Barrett, seconded by Council member Kris Berrong with all in favor.  The meeting was adjourned at 6:11 pm
