HIAWASSEE CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL CALLED MINUTES Tuesday December 14^th, 2021

The City of Hiawassee’s Special Called meeting was called to order at 6PM in the Council Chambers on Tuesday December 14^th, 2021 by Mayor Liz Ordiales.

The Mayor was out of town, but conducted the meeting via phone.  Present were Council members Anne Mitchell, Nancy Noblet, and Jay Chastain.  Council members Amy Barrett and Patsy Owens were absent.  Staff present was City Clerk Bonnie Kendrick and City Attorney Thomas Mitchell attended by phone as well.

The Invocation was given by Council member Anne Mitchell and was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

Motion to approve the agenda was made by Council member Jay Chastain, seconded by Council member Nancy Noblet with all present in favor.

Motion to approve the sale contract for Property from Dawgwood Management, LLC was made by Council member Anne Mitchell, seconded by Council member Jay Chastain with all present in favor.

Motion to accept the donation from Dawgwood Management, LLC was made by Council member Nancy Noblet, seconded by Council member Anne Mitchell with all present in favor.

Motion to approve the Intergovernmental agreement for DDA Management was made by Council member Anne Mitchell, seconded by Council member Nancy Noblet with all present in favor.

There was no need for executive session.

Motion to adjourn was made by Council member Jay Chastain, seconded by Council member Nancy Noblet with all present in favor.  Meeting adjourned at 6:03pm.
