NOTICE OF 

PUBLIC HEARING 

The City Building & Planning Committee of the City of Hiawassee will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, September 7th, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at the Towns County Civic Center regarding variances requested for a private housing development, The Overlook at Lake Chatuge, located at 200 US HWY 76 EAST. 

The request is for a density variance to allow several housing options (1BR, 2BR, 3BR) at that location. Applications and plans may 

be reviewed at Hiawassee City Hall located at 50 River Street Hiawassee, GA
