Water Treatment Plant Lawn Maintenance

Request for Proposal

The City of Hiawassee is requesting proposals for Lawn Maintenance work for the City’s Water Treatment Plant. The scope includes mowing/weed eating of roadside Hwy 76 from row of bushes to side of old roadbed at Lloyds Landing from 1^st Crepe Myrtle to Canup Lane entire bank area, lake side of Canup lane to the Water Plant, bank around clear well, bank surrounding the Water Treatment Plant to the fence. area behind the Water Treatment Plant. Miscellaneous work when needed and approved by Mayor.

This contract will be a 1-year contract starting March 2025 through February 2026.  Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope address to the city.  Each sealed bid must be marked “2025 Landscape Contract Bid WTP-Hiawassee, GA”

Bids will be accepted at City Hall until 2 PM Friday, February 28th, 2025. No bids received after that date and time will be considered. The project will be awarded within 10 days of bid opening. 

The contractor shall maintain liability insurance for the duration of this agreement. Upon being awarded the contract, the contractor will provide a Certificate of Insurance and Declaration Page and Worker’s Compensation Certificate of Insurance.
