Hiawassee Public Comment Survey and Text

The City of Hiawassee is participating with Towns County and the City of Young Harris in the update of their joint comprehensive plan. That effort will explore how the communities will work together in managing change and possible growth in the future while striving to retain the area’s rural character, lower cost of living, and current levels of service.

As part of this process, Hiawassee also wishes to more deeply explore some key topics. Please respond to the following questions and let us know your thoughts about these issues and help the City of Hiawassee prioritize their work scope for the next few years. All responses are anonymous, and you’ll have the opportunity to write in your own suggestions at the end.

Towns County Joint Public Comment Survey and Text

What do you think the future should hold for Towns County?

How should it manage growth and economic development?

Towns County and the municipalities of Hiawassee and Young Harris are updating theirJoint Comprehensive Plan – The document used to help guide development and capital projects.

As part of this process, they want to hear your vision for the future, your priorities, and your concerns. Please take 15 minutes to complete the following survey. There will be sections on behalf of each community, and you’ll be able to submit responses for each and every community desired.

All comments will be anonymous and confidential.
