Complaint: Violation of Sec. 4(l) of the 2017 City of Hiawassee Code of Ethics. “A city official shall not directly or indirectly make use of, or permit others to make us of, official information not made available to the general public for the purpose of furthering a private interest.”
You are invited to appear and to present evidence in support or in defense of the Complaint. You should bring whomever else you wish to have testify, and whatever documents they may have, in support of your position on this matter.
Section 8 of the ordinance reads in part “the city official subject of the inquiry shall have the right but not the obligation of submitting evidence and calling witnesses.”
